The beautiful Hina and Nial were married at the amazingly stylish Vancouver Club in downtown Vancouver BC. With the help of Tanya and her Millstone Events ladies the Vancouver club was transformed into a white wonderland of baby's breath and white hydrangea. Soft lighting and loads of candles set the tone for this romantic wedding and reception.
I fist met Hina and Nial at a small coffee shop last year, Hina had a true vision of soft lace, blush pink and dark grey. Using her pallet we found the most exquisite lace and paired it with a rich blush pink, graphite, and beige paper with gold ink. We created a soft lace pocket on her invitation suite to hold her reply card. Everything about this suite set is truly delicate and luscious.
What at true delight it was to work with these two, wishing you the very Best Hina and Nial!
What a show the 2013 Urban Unveiled was this year! The booths were spectacular and the much anticipate Luly Yang fashion show was, as always stunning! The team at Seattle Bride Magazine did a tremendous job at setting the scene for a themed night of Garden in the City.
For the booth this year I took cues from the theme and used them to create a oasis of color and patterns. Creating a glitter heart marquee and color raw silk pillows really brightened the booth, along with stripped lines and hand painted polka dot tins. The tins were filled with drink stir sticks, with mini gold pom poms and a flag the read "swivel, stir, and drink up". These were so much fun to create, and easy. Using gold painted skewer sticks, gold pipe cleaners and gold mini pom poms all found at Joann's these little sticks were a huge hit!
The gold heart marquee steamed from a post I saw a while back on 100 Layer cake, I adapted the idea to make lighted version. Using flashing (from lows) which was painted gold, a pound of sequins, and mercury lights from Target the sign transformed into a glowing heart.
As a favor and or hand out I created a "will be my client" invitation. The invitation outlined the next steps in making your custom stationery a reality. These cards were screen printed on 100% 110# Cranes Lettra, so rich and buttery.
I have never crafted so much for a bridal show ever, but I have to say it was fun and perhaps well worth all the hard work.
Custom wedding totes are new to Kerri Eefndi Designs, and we are pleased to be offering them! We created these canvas totes for Angela and Marcus's welcome bags for their many out of town guests. The bags feature a two-color screen print that reads, “Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.”- Thich Nhat Hanh, simple and sweet!
We will be showcasing more of this wedding soon, please stay tuned!
Mr. Blackbird and Company a new screen printing company in Bellingham wanted a branding focus that is a combination of rustic modern northwest flavor. We created a custom bird skull embellished with a classic top hat and of course arrows. We are excited to continue to work with Mr. Blackbird on all the branding which will include, his website, business cards, totes, and of course tee shirts. Stay tuned for updates on the happenings of the Blackbird and his travels through the Northwest.
All good things must come to a end but at the end of my working relationships there is always a celebration. I have been working with Brittney and Ryan for about a year now, from save the dates to wedding invitations and then all their day of goodies. An orange and blue suite accompanied by gold accents set the tone for their Novelty Hill-Januik Winery wedding. We used modern elements along with sophisticated raw silk ribbon and a custom gold wax seal.
